FKCCI Honors Past Presidents for Decades of Service and Dedication
The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) marked a significant milestone today by felicitating five esteemed past presidents who have collectively dedicated over 25 years of service to the organization. The ceremony, held at Sir. M Visvesvaraya auditorium, was graced by Sri. Lehar Singh Siroya, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Government of India, who presided as the Chief Guest.
The honored past presidents include Sri. C Valliappa (1988-89), Dr. S Philip Lewis (1991-92), Sri. K M Srinivasa Murthy (1995-96), Sri. K Lakshman (1997-98), and Sri. Tallam Venkatesh (1990-2000). Each was recognized for their enduring contributions to FKCCI, pivotal in advancing industry and economic growth.
Expressing his gratitude, Sri. Lehar Singh Siroya praised FKCCI for its rare gesture of acknowledging the ongoing impact of past leadership. He emphasized the importance of such recognition in honoring institutional memory and continuity in organizational excellence.
Mr. Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, President of FKCCI, emphasized the invaluable guidance and expertise provided by these past presidents, which continues to shape FKCCI’s strategic direction and policy advocacy.
