Today Shri Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, President, FKCCI along with the Secretary General met Ms.Salma K Fahim, IAS, Secretary to Govt. Tourism Department at Vikasa Soudha, Bengaluru and briefed her about the Dakshin Bharat Utsav 2024 jointly organized by Department of Tourism and FKCCI on 15th and 16th June 2024.

President explained about the preparations made for the event by conducting Road Shows at Chennai, Chikmagalur, Mysuru and the proposed Road Show at Telangana.

The President requested to support the event with a list of Boards and Corporations coming under the control of Tourism Department and also to convene a meeting with the officials of the Tourism Department along with FKCCI for taking forward the preparations for the event.

The Secretary readily agreed to support in conducting the event as proposed.
